About Savantes
     

Established in 2001, International Savantes presents training courses, events and promotes excellence in extra virgin olive oil, with participants from Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania and North America.

The first Savantes programme was presented in Melbourne, Australia, in 2001 by International Olive Oil Expert and Author Judy Ridgway.  Courses have since been presented in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Sydney, presented by a range of international oil and culinary experts that includes Roberto Zecca, Justo del Amo, Xavier Codina, Linda Costa, Gerardo Jiménez Luque and Jean-Bernard Chomarat.

International Savantes has also launched complimentary programmes, including 'Blue Glass Class' and 'Blending with the Best'.  A professional table olive programme was also launched and presented in 2002 (Table Olive Savantes)

In 2008 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes was presented in Spain and Italy in 2008, with Judy Ridgway, Gerardo Jiménez Luque and other international experts.

May 2009 will see Savantes presented in London for the first time, as well as returning to Seville.
